A new beginning, again.

On September 30 our lives changed when our daughter was born. It's been amazing. Ten and a half months in already and I can't imagine what would be better than being her mom. As a result of breastfeeding and commuting over 60 miles per work day there is little time for myself. I'm taking full responsibility for my immobility and the food that I put in my mouth. It's changing.

I bought my 3rd fitbit today. The first one was phased out, the second one was lost in October of 2013, and this one goes on my wrist so I will hopefully not lose it. It should be delivered in two days. I can't wait to start tracking. It's easier to think you've done something when you really haven't if you aren't tracking.

I'm doing this for me and I'm doing this for C. She's going to need positive role models in her life. She needs to know that dad's aren't the only ones that try to be fit/healthy. She needs me for as long as I can be around. In order to do that for her, I need to take care of me.

Friday at 6:30. That's my date with the treadmill. It's even on my calendar. I'm not messing around. I did this once and I can do it again.
